19801 East Mainstreet - Request For Qualifications (RFQ)

ORIGINALLY PUBLISHED FROM 3/9/2016-3/26/2016
The Parker Authority for Reinvestment (Parker’s urban renewal authority known as “PAR”) will oversee the development of PAR owned property in Downtown Parker. PAR is seeking a qualified, visionary development partner to participate in the Town’s efforts to redevelop underutilized PAR property on historic East Mainstreet. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is the first step in selecting a firm that will work with PAR to develop a PAR-owned site at 19801 East Mainstreet. As a specific plan for this property has yet to be determined, PAR would like to select a development partner who will work with us to develop the site. Therefore, PAR has elected to solicit qualifications from competent, qualified and interested development professionals.

PAR is seeking a qualified development partner for this unique opportunity. The selected developer is anticipated to take a leadership role in realizing site development potential through participation in a public-private partnership.

Given the site’s central location on East Mainstreet in Downtown Parker, development on the property will both add to existing mixed-use development in the area and serve as a catalyst for new mixed-use development on other opportunity sites in Downtown.

Redevelopment will accommodate a vertical mix of uses that will further expand the downtown experience. Quality development will reinforce the unique character and aesthetics of the downtown core enhancing the district’s economic vitality and energy. Downtown is embraced for its walkability, pedestrian scale, amenities and hometown feel.
